News for professional educators ...
Making use of podcasting and other Web 2.0 technologies can enhance and enrich the learning environments and communities for children, young people and educational professionals alike.
Examples include our mobile version of this website, the podcast directory, our Online Learning Studio and our educational apps for busy educational professionals as well as our series of early learning Apps for young children. See fulll range of our Apps in the App Store.

The OSX version of Ed-Reader Pro, designed for Mac® desktop and laptop devices running OSX 10.6.0 or higher, is now available on the Mac App Store.
Our two series of early learning Apps for the iPad® are designed for use with younger children from two years of age upwards: Colour My Shapes and Numbers.
Colour My Shapes, Colour My Shapes & Count, Colour My Shapes & Compare and Colour My Shapes & Sort are available in the App Store. All the Apps run on iOS 4.3+.
My Number Grid, Odd & Even Numbers, My Multiples, Find My Missing Numbers and My Number Line are also available in the App Store. All run on the iPad with iOS 4.3+.
These products illustrate our commitment to exploiting the educational potential of Web 2.0 technologies - such as weblogs or blogs, bookmarking, podcasts, RSS feeds, wikis and other forms of “many to many” publishing, such as course management systems for virtual learning environments. Our e-Learning weblog: Anytime, Anywhere Learners explores some of the topical innovations and issues from an educational perspective.
One course programme from our own VLE is Podcasting Basics. The course is freely available at our Online Learning Studio where you have guest access to the 10 planned sessions. Other professional course programmes will follow.
Finally, on our website you can also view, evaluate and use the UK's first and best podcast directory for educators, schools and colleges. This provides access to a wide range of audio, enhanced and video podcasts produced by schools as well as a wide range of organisations. Listed podcasts are carefully selected, quality assured and categorised into educational sectors and the main subject areas.
