This is the first session of the course, you will be presented with a brief overview about the growth of podcasting as a medium on the internet. You will be introduced to some of the important technology infrastructure that makes educational podcasting possible.


Learning objectives
  • Gain an overview of podcasting as a relatively new phenomenon
  • Become aware of the role of XML or RSS Feeds in podcasting
  • Consider the nature of podcasting as a communication medium.
