Introduction

Here are some examples of good practice that we have come across in the world of educational podcasting.

Our City Podcast has been created by Tony Vincent and he invites students from around the globe to submit podcasts so others can learn about the place they call home. There are some excellent resources avaiable as a download to support this activity which has tremendous potential.

Collaboration between schools in different locations seems to be catching on. Some examples include:

Radio Sandiag in Glasgow, Scotland and De Rank School in Holland.
Pinckney Elementary School in Michigan, USA and Sunflower Elementary School in Kansas, USA.
The "Sense Over Sectarianism" Project involves two Primary 7 classes from Croftfoot Primary School and St Mirin's Primary School - both located in Glasgow, Scotland.
