Collaborative Writing

Introduction

The scenario illustrates how the application of the Wiki format can be used to promote the effective use of ICT and provide pupils with first-hand experience of using an educational Wiki to produce and share pieces of writing.

In this topic, pupils are able to add, edit and share their writing on various projects with each other, their parents/carers and teachers. In addition, the work in progress evolves dynamically as pieces of writing develop.

This example of an educational Wiki is a simple example of a collaborative writing project undertaken by pupils.
